Once again it's happening...

You can't believe it and neither can I. My deepest sincerest apologies again. Lemme tell you the story. . .

I've been living on a tour bus for almost a month, traveling through America and Canada, doing many shows, throwing my heart out there but this time with the grand feeling someone was there catching it. Anyways, the tour has been going great but its still hard on your body, rainier then expected, thought summer was here but most often then not I found myself trapped soaking wet in a tiny leather jacket in my search for Kombucha.

Looking back on it now; WOW, MY AUDIENCE WAS BEEN FANTASTIC AND AMAZING? I LOVE YOU !

In the wonderful Napa Valley, my sound guy suddenly got hit by something mysterious that made him lose his voice entirely and all of the sudden half of the bus was coughing their guts out. I prayed to God and took as many remedies as I could to protect myself from that god damn flu that so many people around me has been hit by. LIFE OH LIFE! SAVE ME LORD, ARTISTS ARE NOT MENT TO BE HUMAN!

After a wonderful show in San Fransisco I only had one real show of my own to go so I thought I was homefree when it hit me , BOOM ! I was up all night on that bus with fever shivers from hell, listening to the sounds of my coughing bandmates. What comes around, goes around........ So scared cause I had the Wiltern that same night so I took my tiny ass to the doctor. Doctor told me I had multiple infections going, sinus as well as my throat as well as my respitatory systems as well as an ear infection and God knows what! M**********R!!! I hardly had a voice but I yelled, give me that shot that makes you superwoman for one night only! ! I simply cannot let them down! They would never forgive me!

So I got the shot as well as antibiotics and made it through my set on pure adrenaline.... Just to wake up and be way worse. My voice was now completely gone and once again I saw a doctor and yelled; give me a cortisone shot so I can sing on Jimmy Kimmel... ONE NIGHT ONLY! LIVE EVERYDAY LIKE YOUR LAST! And here I am again. I B A R E L Y M A D E I T T H R O U G H ..... I am now in bed with instructions to rest my vocal chords and my soul ( again god damn it!!!!!!!!) with nothing else to say but how awfully sorry I am but I simply can't sing right now, can hardly breathe, I am sick, I am human. Please forgive me.

I might have gone at it a bit too soon but you can't control everything in life.

I am really truly sorry for not being able to perform for you, you know there is nothing I would love more then belting it out in open air California!

I had some kind of complete meltdown on Marks&Spencer in Glasgow on one of those very rare days off while on route. For various reasons, various hardships sneaked up on me and I was standing at an isle contemplating life and death and the struggles of being an artist/soul/woman/human being when the overbearingness sneaked up on me like Batman himself. I fell to the floor and so did the raspberries I had in my hand, the troubled breathing lead to some severe lumbago which ment I couldn't move and had to lay straight for a few days. In a valium haze I took a flight back to my loved ones where a strong man cracked my holy spine loose and I was soon able to walk again. Little did I know it was my troubled hip joint that was the problem in the first place, so had to go back to a horizontal mode. My body then decided Easter was the perfect time to let a god damn flu blossom out, so I spent the whole easter praying to God to get better, drinking ginger tea while watching Apocalypse Now wishing nothing more then that I could have been on that stage with you.



I am really sorry for not being able to perform but I will make it up to you as soon as I possibly can, which is probably announced today already.

Had some unexpected time on my hands so more philosophizing will follow.

      Been in a whirlwind, singing, stomping. Forgive my ranting but I am insanely jet lagged. Drived to LAX at 5 am yesterday morning, stopped for some espresso and a homeless man told me he liked my shoes. Asked a lady if I should check in my hatbox, she said not, planes can't be trusted. Yes mam. Almost missed my plane in New York but made it thanks to my brand new sneakers.

     Wide awake on the plane, watched Gran Torino. My lord, Clint Eastwood is on fire! I think I could be him when I get older. Off course they misplaced my luggage in New York so I'm now back in grey, windy, ice cold Stockholm with a very spartanic outfit. I fly to Copenhagen tomorrow to perform so I guess I will have to rely on other peoples mercy for mascara and heels.

     Oh forget my rambling, this was suppose to be a love letter to you but I don't know where to begin so I'll just continue this freewheelin' style of writing and instead give you glims off what I've gone through the last weeks. Wish I did this more often but time is simply not enough cause I feel life is important to live and not tweet about.

     I did some TV shows and you know, you always fuck up, so nervous and not vibrant enough but what can one do? I was nervous! My heart melted at Amoeba, to see all of you who actually still care enough to go buy my record was simply moving, I love you. And EL REY! What a night, I hope I made Tina proud! And then, I decided I needed a small little vacation. Been working like a maniac since God knows when.

     Los Angeles, how glad I was to be back and how sad I was to leave. Nothing makes me happier then sunshine, some jazztobacco and a spicy Kale salad. Went out to the desert for my quarterlife birthday and it was a FULL MOON! How lucky am I. Double lucky cause later that day I got to meet no other then mr David Lynch himself! I gave him my record and he said; Lykke Li, how nice to meet you. If that wasn't a moment then what is? I got evidence to prove it!
